Introduction

We take the privacy of our users very seriously, and we have implemented various safeguards to ensure that your data remains confidential. We do not have access to your inbox, and the data we have access to is limited to your email address, labels, and basic settings. Our security measures include encryption of data at rest and field level encryption for sensitive data, and we have a strict policy against sharing any user data with third parties.

We currently offer our services free of charge to users while we test the add-on and explore ways to improve app usage and customer experience. We may consider adding paid features in the future as we continue to grow.

Additionally, we want to clarify that the information we require to function properly is limited to the title and sender of the email that you have opened, your labels, your basic settings, and your email address which is only used to save your settings. We cannot enable forward email addresses through our add-on.

ChatGPT

Regarding the usage of ChatGPT, if you opt-in, only the subject line and sender of the email you have opened will be shared with ChatGPT, and we will not include any Personally Identifying Information (PII). The data that is sent to ChatGPT will not be used to train the model.

Notice

We do not store your file data such as emails on any of our servers. Those stay on Google’s servers. Granting us the access to your data does not allow us to access your data offline. We only use this access to display them on the app and make actions on your behalf for the add on to work. All the actions performed come from you. The only information we store from your Google account is your e-mail and your desired settings.

We do not share your data with any third party.

Google policy disclosure

Clean Inbox for Gmail™'s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
